Owner & CEO
Pastor Courtney Godbolt
Since 2005, Pastor Courtney Godbolt has been dedicated to building up the Wynners of tomorrow.
With nearly two decades of experience in early childhood education, she has earned multiple Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials in both Infant and Preschool Care, an Associate’s Degree in Human Service Management, and certifications as a CPR Instructor, Faith-Based Childcare Curriculum Developer, and Certified Professional Trainer with the State of Texas.
Pastor Courtney founded The Wynn Academy out of both purpose and calling: to create a nurturing space where children could experience the love of Christ while growing academically, socially, and emotionally. She believes education and faith are inseparable parts of development, working hand in hand to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the idea that care and learning go together. Pastor Courtney blends warmth, structure, and spiritual guidance in each of The Wynn Academy’s centers, ensuring every child is seen, loved, and supported. She often reminds her team, “We’re not just caregivers, we’re care-givers,” emphasizing that every lesson, hug, and word of encouragement helps a child feel God’s love in action.
Her favorite scripture, Isaiah 11:6 – “And a child shall lead them,” reflects her conviction that the next generation holds the power to change the world — one child, one lesson, and one prayer at a time.

Shanya Evans-Holloway
Since 2022, Mrs. Shanya Evans-Holloway has been passionately building up the Wynners of tomorrow at Wynn Academy.
She joined our faith-based community to dedicate her time, creativity, and heart to nurturing young minds in an environment where each child feels seen, valued, and empowered.
With a unique blend of tenderness and authority, Mrs. Shanya creates moving, engaging, and inspiring classrooms. Her teaching philosophy centers on the belief that early education lays the foundation for lifelong success, and she takes pride in helping shape confident, compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
Guided by Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (NKJV), Mrs. Shanya views teaching not just as a profession, but as a divine calling. Each day is an opportunity to plant seeds of faith, character, and purpose, equipping children to walk confidently in who God created them to be.

LaTrice Thompson
Ms. Latrice has been building up the Wynners of tomorrow since 2022.
She began her journey at Wynn Academy with a simple goal — to make a difference in the lives of children. Through her dedication, compassion, and creativity, she quickly became a trusted leader and mentor among both students and staff.
She brings a warm and nurturing spirit to every classroom, blending fun, structure, and faith-based guidance in all that she does. Ms. Latrice believes that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved — and she’s passionate about helping each one discover the unique gifts God has placed inside them.
Her favorite Bible verse, Matthew 19:14 — “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these,” captures her heart for children. For Ms. Latrice, teaching isn’t just a career — it’s a calling to welcome every child with love, patience, and faith, knowing that what’s planted in them today will blossom for years to come.
Infant Program
(6 Weeks – 12 Months)
Gentle beginnings rooted in love.
Our Infant Program provides specialized care for babies as young as six weeks old. We follow your home feeding and sleeping schedule while introducing age-appropriate activities that support sensory development, motor skills, and emotional security. Every moment is intentional — from cuddles to playtime — laying the foundation for your baby’s future milestones.
Discovery Preschool
(Ages 1–2)
Where curiosity begins to bloom.
Our Discovery Preschool program encourages your little one’s natural sense of wonder through music, art, and movement. Each day is filled with opportunities to explore, create, and express themselves while we gently guide them toward early developmental and social goals. We believe every discovery is a chance to celebrate God’s creativity in them.
Pre-Kindergarten
(Ages 4–5)
Preparing hearts and minds for the next big step.
Our Pre-K program sets the stage for a successful kindergarten experience. Through hands-on learning, problem-solving activities, and guided emotional development, children learn to listen, communicate, and collaborate. By the end of Pre-K, they’re not only ready for school — they’re ready to shine.

Preschool
(Ages 3–4)
Building confidence through creativity and connection.
As your child’s independence grows, our Preschool Program helps them develop strong language, math, science, and social skills. Small class sizes ensure individualized attention and positive reinforcement. We focus on relationship building — with teachers, peers, and learning itself — to cultivate confidence and curiosity that lasts a lifetime.
School-Age Program
(Ages 6–12)
Where learning continues beyond the classroom.
Our after-school program gives students a fun and safe space to unwind, learn, and grow. We combine homework support, creative indoor and outdoor play, and explorative STEM activities — all within a faith-centered environment that encourages positive behavior and teamwork. A healthy snack and joyful atmosphere make afternoons something to look forward to.
